Elephant Maddness - Jaipur

Everyone who goes to the Jaipur fort has to ride an elephant to get there. The elephant's union only allows 5 round trips a day, and the elephants get the rest of the day off. On the way back to the hotel, the elephants, stripped of their fancy duds, but still carrying their saddle boxes, were making their way home pretty much on their own. No one was guiding them, some were without handlers, others had the handlers asleep in the saddle. No one but tourists even takes notice of the elepants walking down the street, and the elephants seem pretty well behaved, especially for union members.
